The year 2020 is a special year full of difficulties. The COVID-19 pandemic has been spreading all over the world, and people of all countries are fighting the pandemic with all their strength. Martial Arts has played a significant role in this fight.

Members of IKFF have advocated the function of martial arts during this pandemic, for example, practicing martial arts at home in isolation, increasing resistance and confidence through martial arts. We have been working together to fight this pandemic and have acquired a great results.

Hopefully,your immunity can be strengthened.Try to improve your physical fitness,release your health and vitality,and make Martial Arts culture active and popular in many fields even in all walks of life. Individual person practise Martial Arts,his or her body strength can be enhanced gradually.The nation will speak louder in physical strength if the whole family members join together to participating into the Martial Arts training journey.Moreover, the mankind will enjoy and benefit from Martial Arts by joining to journey of the wonderful world of Chinese Martial Arts.

I have said that, the body constitution and psychological disposition can be improved through martial arts, and people will have a healthy body and a strong mind, in this circumstance, we can overcome any natural disaster and disease.

IKFF Member States are expected to continue to do a good job in pandemic prevention in 2021 including team building, competitive athletes selection and training, online and on-site field competition activities, so that more people will pay attention to Martial Arts, participate in martial Arts, and benefit from Martial Arts. By doing so, more practitioners would like and be willing to be the members of our Federation. Be active and creative, and seek changes accordingly. Promote the development of Martial Arts with great vitality and vigor.

Seize the momentum of trend and opportunity. We will continue to implement the development plan of IKFF for the next five years. The following five year developing plans and outlines are as follows :

1.Adhere to the "Ideological, Cultural, and Spiritual System" as the developing outline;2. Development Member States, improve and perfect the leading organizations of each Member State;3. Establish and improve the Kung Fu Special Committees of various schools;4. Establish training bases for each Member State and vigorously promote Martial Art activities;5. Implement the co-existence of the “Duan” rank system ( globally ) and the “Cheng” rank system ( locally );6. Continue to promote the Spark Program to popularize Kung Fu culture in developing countries;7. Organize competitions and facilitate communications;8. To achieve the goal of opening the world through the charm of Martial Arts. As an opportunity, Chinese Kung Fu Culture Center has eight functional sections as follows: Wushu Taolu Performance Demo Hall, Chinese Language Teaching, Chinese Calligraphy, Costume and Weapon, Tea Art Culture, Traditional Chinese Medical Culture, and Chinese Folk Music section. We continue to launch a new chapter along the Silk Road of Martial Arts, and facilitate the Belt and Road Initiative, strengthen the promotion of Martial Arts overseas. Our efforts and actions reflected Chinese wisdom, standards and solutions. It is hoped that the Kung Fu Confederations of all countries will do a good job with ideology, culture, and spirit as action indicators. Hopefully, all the affiliated member states of IKFF will follow the essence of the ideology, culture, and spirit as guidance.

The developing outlines of IKFF are as the following:

1.Adhere to the "Ideological, Cultural, and Spiritual System" as the developing outline.

All actions are inseparable from the guiding ideology. Wushu originated from China but it belongs to the world. It belongs to Sports but superior to Sports! Martial Arts is the identity of thought and body language. It is an integration of art and aesthetics, strength and mastery! Wushu is a kind of skill that helps a person develop the coordination and action between the brain and body, It is a science and technology that boosts the spiritual will of humanity, a country"s culture can enhance a nation"s idea of sublimation; martial arts revitalization can enhance a country"s national spirit; A nation with deep thinking is the nation with dreams, goals and hopes. Only with national spirit can a country become stronger and stronger! The governance of a country and management of a family, are inseparable from the ideological, cultural, spiritual systems. Everyone"s sense of social responsibility would be promoted by ideological, cultural, spiritual systems and also the social influence, social awareness, social values, social image, social status, personal charm. Actions always speak louder than words. We need concrete actions to facilitate the booming of Martial Arts. People from worldwide will enjoy the happiness and health from Martial Arts.

2. Develop member-States, improve and build the leading organizations of each Member State

The most important goal of International Kung Fu Federation is to increase the number of Member States. The aim is to develop 120 -150 Member States within five years. At the same time, we should improve the organization construction of Member States, especially the construction of the leading team institute. Each Member State needs to establish a President, 4-6 Vice-Presidents, a Secretary-general, 4-6 Deputy Secretary-general and 1 Supervisor. Organization construction is the basis to launch all works. This leadership team must maintain a high degree of consistency with the IKFF headquarters at the top level. The member state of IKFF should be highly consistent to study and implement decisions and guiding ideology of the headquarters and should take initiative and carry out tasks actively and efficiently.

3.Establish and improve the Kung Fu Special Committees of various schools

The President of Member States strives for improving and building committee for different Wushu schools and developing members on the basis of the integrity of the organization of Member States. There is no opposition between the various schools of Martial Arts. They all serve for physical fitness for people. So in the process of developing the special committee of Martial Arts, we should unite all people of Wushu circles together. We should abide by the principle of the philosophy of “Let a hundred flowers bloom and a hundred schools of thought contend.” In order to facilitate the popularization, we changed the name of Wushu Taolu, Taichi Hand-Push and Sanda to Kung Fu Taolu, Kungfu Hand-Push and Kungfu Fighting.

4.Establish training centers in each Member State and vigorously promote Kung Fu Fighting (KFF).

Development of any school of martial arts is based on complete training gym. Therefore, we should take the effort to establish training centers or training bases. Member States should take action for the connection of extensive human resources and social resources to vigorously open up training centers.

Co-implementation of the “Duan” rank system ( globally ) and the “Cheng” rank system ( locally );

Dan system belongs to an international title and “Cheng” system for traditional. The so-called “Cheng” should be trained by IKFF. The practitioners could be granted 1-9 “Cheng” without age limitation based on the real level of Kungfu. Levels above nine “Cheng” is upper Cheng and the final level is great Cheng which is the highest level of the “Cheng” system. The aim is to enhance the interest of practitioners in martial arts by improving the rank of Cheng.

6.Continue to promote the Sponsorship Program to popularize Kung Fu Culture in developing countries

In order to promote Chinese martial arts, strengthen cultural exchanges between China and the world; in the concept of "culture serves for economy" and the aim of promoting the economy and culture of developing countries, we launched the "Sponsorship Program" and help more people benefit from the program.

7.Organize competitions and facilitate communications

Wushu culture needs to be promoted and spread. The priority is to strengthen exchanges. Only in this way, could the level of each member states" athletes/sportsmen be enhanced continuously. We should actively prepare for the 8th Beijing International Wushu Culture Exchange Conference & the 7th session of Beijing World Championship. From the beginning of this year, Kung Fu Fighting would be the main project of IKFF. We especially set up KFF (Kung Fu Fighting) match for the better development of Kungfu Fighting (KFF). International Kung Fu Federation would like to train the judges, coaches and more technical personnel for Kung fu Fighting game. We would hold KFF match during the Beijing Wushu &Culture Exchange Conference from this year. At the same time, each member country of IKFF would take turns to host KFF matches and promote it to the world. Every year, we would hold 100 KFF tournaments to build the most influential Kung Fu World Cup in the world. This event will be conducted in the United States, U.K., Russia, Canada, Brazil, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Japan and other countries. This would be another Kungfu feast after Beijing Wushu & Cultural Exchange Conference. It is the world"s highest level of Kung fu fighting. KFF is the first Tournament promoted by IKFF. We shall try to make it in the same level of MMA and UFC. We would display the essence of traditional Chinese Wushu in the ring; to show the Chinese nation spirit and let the audience enjoy gluttonous feast.

To achieve the goal of opening the world through the charm of Martial Arts

Member States would organize its similar tournaments while actively participating Beijing Wushu & Culture Exchange Conference organized by IKFF. Flourish its own Wushu Culture through communication, promotion and competition. At the same time, strengthen the communication of member state of IKFF and its country’s folk & official Wushu teams and personnel. The purpose is to promote cultural exchanges and strengthen the power of Kung Fu.

The dream & goal of Opening the World through Martial Art’s Charm would come into the fruition in the near future through the joint efforts of our global martial arts people. All of IKFF, all the members states should unite together and seize opportunities to cope with the challenges ahead!
